About Convex Works
Convex Works is an engineering-led agency established in 2022 in Amsterdam. We work with clients in the EU and the US to cover the intersection of technology and business growth. That means we take care of projects that clients do not have the capacity or know-how to implement. We have two mains service packages:
- Data Systems: We set up and operate the systems companies use to run their data infrastructure
- Go-to-Market engineering infrastructure that ranges from complete web applications, websites, data systems, and any infrastructure a client needs to grow.
We are a small team and move fast, working directly with founders and technical leads. Our work is multidisciplinary and based on fast learning and iterations.
What you will do
You will help build and run the technical backbone behind client and internal projects. The role is intentionally broad. You will implement proven patterns, ship production-grade changes with review, and grow into owning complete workstreams.
- Research assistance: Alongside our teams, you help investigate a market, ecosystem, or product area; map what needs to exist for adoption; turn that into a clear plan, specs, and deliverables (pages, guides, demos, tools, measurement).
- Front-end Development: Ship websites, landing pages, directories, and template-driven content systems that scale (programmatic pages, consistent formats, fast iteration).
- GTM execution and iteration: Turn research and data into shipped growth assets—e.g., validate an opportunity with keyword/customer research, define the content and distribution plan, then build the directory/landing/app flow that captures demand, instrument it end-to-end, and iterate based on what converts (traffic quality, signups, activation, and feedback).
Tech stack
We don’t hire for specific vendors. We hire for underlying capability. Some of the tools we use
- Web development stack such as Svelte, Tailwind, TS/JS
- Automation systems such as Zapier, n8n, Webhooks, APIs, OpenClaw
- Data architecture tools such as Segment, GA4, Mixpanel
- Basic data science stack, like working with Python, and data enrichment APIs like Ahrefs.
- AI-assisted development, including OpenAI’s Code, Claude Code, and Cursor
Your profile
- You are fluent in English
- You take a hands-on approach and get excited by rapid experimentation
- You have a strong technical affinity – you’re comfortable working with simple APIs, webhooks, and automation platforms, and you’re building confidence with tools like Claude Code and n8n
- You think in systems: when you see repetitive work, you see an opportunity to automate
- You have taste. You hold a high bar for quality and consistency in everything you ship – from an email subject line to a landing page to an internal workflow
- You’re analytical and comfortable with assumptions and incomplete information
- You understand modern B2B SaaS marketing and what great looks like
Expected disciplines/studies
- Data Science, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or another quantitative/engineering discipline with strong software work.
- Self-taught technical and interdisciplinary backgrounds are very welcome.
Our process
- Profile and CV screening
- ~60 min case interview: You will prepare and work through a case study of a GTM challenge we’re facing
- If successful: Offer shortly after.
